🌿 About the 唐草纹 motif
唐草纹 (tángcǎo wén) is a traditional Chinese botanical motif characterized by intertwined stems, leaves, and plants forming flowing S-shaped curves.
Its name is associated with its great popularity during the Tang dynasty (618–907). Also known as 卷草纹 (juǎncǎo wén), this motif draws inspiration from various plants, particularly honeysuckle, peony, and lotus.
Through its composition of continuous, harmoniously curling lines, 唐草纹 creates a design that is fluid, rhythmic, and lively. It symbolizes, in particular, the continuity of life, vitality, and prosperity.
Present in Chinese decorative art since ancient times, this motif developed over the centuries and was widely used in architecture, ceramics, textiles, decorative objects, and traditional arts.

The 心经 (Heart Sūtra) is one of the best-known texts in the Mahāyāna Buddhist tradition. Here, its text is reproduced as a decorative and cultural engraving inside the ring.
