Cloud necklace 云肩 (yún jiān): a kind of decorative cloud-shaped cape that is worn on the shoulders. It is richly embroidered and used to embellish the outfit.
Shirt 立领衫 (lì lǐng shān) a straight-collared top, typical of Ming Dynasty clothing. The straight collar (立领) is a distinctive element of many formal outfits of the period.
Skirt 马面裙 (mǎ miàn qún): A pleated skirt with flat front and back panels (like “horse faces”). This style of skirt was very popular in the Ming period and is now emblematic of Hanfu-style outfits.
