This dress was worn by the royal guards of the Ming Dynasty. It features a cross-collared top and a pleated skirt at the hem. It was a popular costume among men from the Yuan Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty and originated in Mongolia. Although it looks like a dragon, don't be fooled! Look closely and you'll see a dragon with an intricately woven fishtail in this ornate samurai costume. Hence the name "Flying Fish Suit".
It has become a popular unisex garment in the Hanfu world and a must-have for any Hanfu or Chinese drama enthusiast for those looking for traditional and modern clothing with prestige and sophistication.
