This two-piece Ming Dynasty Peach Blossom set is inspired by classic Chinese aesthetics. L’ensemble combines a stand-up-collar top with metal buttons and refined pipa sleeves with a “horse-face” skirt. Its pastel peach pink and cream shades are adorned with traditional printed motifs depicting celestial mountains, auspicious clouds, and mythical fauna.
2-Piece Set
1. Stand-Up Collar Jacket with Pipa Sleeves — Peach Pink
Design & Cut: Traditional Ming-style cut with a fitted stand-up collar and a front closure secured with ornate metal buttons.
Sleeves: Wide “Pipa” sleeves (Pipa Xiu - shaped like a traditional lute), slightly tapered at the wrists for elegance and freedom of movement.
Patterns & Finishes: Rich artistic prints combining peach blossoms, traditional waves, and mythical mountains in a pastel palette of sky blue, gold, and rose.
Carefully finished facings and borders highlight the intricate details.
Feel & Fabric: Soft, flowing satin fabric with a subtle, elegant sheen.
2. Traditional "Mamianqu" Skirt — Cream & Beige
Design & Cut: Traditional pleated skirt with two overlapping flat panels (Mamianqu), an iconic style of the Ming dynasty.
Patterns & Finishes: Hem print depicting the sacred deer (Lu) amid celestial landscapes and folkloric seascapes.
Crisp, even pleats create a fluid, flowing movement when walking.
Matching structured high-waisted belt with traditional tie bands.

Storage: Hang on a hanger to prevent fabric marks and preserve the shape of the vest and pleats.
