A traditional pleated skirt (Mamianqun) illustrated with mythological motifs.

  • Motif: Illustration of "Kunpeng" (鲲鹏), the legendary creature capable of transforming from a giant fish into an immense bird, a symbol of freedom and ambition.
  • Pattern colours: Shades of purple, lavender and golden yellow on a beige background.
  • Cut: Pleated skirt with flat panels (Mamian), rigid structure that flatters the silhouette.
  • Details: Gold trim and wave and cloud motifs at the hem.

Washing and maintenance

2. After washing, hang it in a well-ventilated place indoors to air dry. Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid fading.

3. When ironing, use the lowest heat setting or use steam to remove wrinkles.
