The "Summer Lotus" series is made on semi-baked xuan paper, lightly treated to offer better stability, while retaining the natural texture and absorbency of traditional xuan.
Thanks to the high-definition micro-jet printing technique, the colors are crisp, subtle, and long-lasting. The result is similar to a painting on silk or handmade xuan paper.
Paper type: Semi-baked Xuan
Size: 17 cm × 34 cm
Texture: natural fiber, soft, resistant
Thickness: standard (suitable for calligraphy and drawing)
Uses: calligraphy, light painting, copying texts, wall decoration
Available designs: variations on the summer lotus
Main features:
- Clean, stable surface; the paper does not fade or tear.
- Ink-compatible support.
- Quick drying, no smudges.

A new inkstone is covered with a thin layer of wax. Before grinding the ink, it must therefore be "opened" (开砚), otherwise the ink stick will slip.
